We’re green by default.

We aim to leave a legacy of green buildings behind us, knowing that we’ve done all we can to decarbonise our buildings.

We pledge to leave this world in a better place than we found it.

02 Our Performance
We pride ourselves on re-use over new build, focusing strongly on saving carbon at every possible opportunity. If materials can be re-used, and can be fit for purpose going forwards then why would you replace them? The chart below shows the amount of carbon V7 have saved by re-using existing buildings:

During our transformation projects, it is equally important to look ahead and focus on creating buildings that are highly energy efficient, result in no operational carbon and are low cost to run. The chart below shows how our projects are projected to perform compared to the RIBA 2030 target:

03 Our Commitment
We pledge to leave this world in a better place than we found it. We aim to leave a legacy of green buildings behind us, knowing that we’ve done all we can to decarbonise our buildings.
We take our responsibility very seriously and fully support the UK and global transition to Net Zero. We work in accordance with the UKGBC net zero carbon buildings framework and we are fully committed to exceeding the Paris Agreement target of 1.5ºC degrees by 2030 and net zero carbon by 2050.

As part of the project brief, we set ourselves and the project team the following targets:

Targets

Operational Energy
Embodied Carbon
Potable Water Use
Climate Change Adaption
Biodiversity
Post Occupancy
Fossil fuel use
Construction
Building Operation

Mandatory Certificates
